The Coho Oceanfront Lodge of Lincoln City, Oregon, are happy to announce that every Wednesday, from 4:00pm - 5:00pm and Friday 4:00pm - 6:00pm, they will be hosting a complimentary wine social for all guests of the hotel. The wine socials involves tastings of the wines that we carry here at the Coho, as well as decadent Hors d'œuvre's and our wine host, George, will be happy to discuss local tourist attractions and some of the better restaurants with all social goers.  As an added bonus, the Coho Oceanfront Lodge, (one of the best Lincoln City Oregon Hotels), will also have a massage therapist perform free, 10 minute chair massages.

Some of the wines that we sample at the wine social include, but are not limited to:

Henry Estate Veraison 2008, Oregon
This soft fruity blush wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Muscat and Cabernet Sauvignon. The name comes from the Frenchviticulturists, “Veraison” is the term used when red grapes start to turn color from green to red in the vineyard and, in Europe, this time is widely celebrated.

Waterbrook Chardonnay 2007, Washington
Aromatic apple and citrus zest married with tropical fruit notes welcome you to this crisp Chardonnay. Notes of grapefruit and apple with hints of toast lead to a wonderful bright finish.

Barnard Griffin Merlot 2006, Washington
A medley of vanilla, deep spice, plum and black tea aromas create a pleasing herb/fruit balance. Infused, ripe cherry and vanilla flavors greet the palate followed by mouthwatering acidity. Hints of burnt orange and plum chime in on the long finish. Well paired with lamb or spicy Italian foods.

Montinore Estate Pinot Noir 2008, Oregon
The colors are deep and ruby. The Aromatics are of clean, very rich, ripe fruit, without any cooked jammy notes. The acids are perfectly balanced, with mouth-filling, full-bodied wines with fine-grained, elegant tannins.

Eola Hills Pinot Gris 2008, Oregon
Fresh Bartlett Pears come to mind when you first inhale the delicious aroma. At first taste, it is light, refreshing, and a little fruity with a little spritz on the finish.
